December Trading Competition

The December trading competition is now live.

Please note there is one new rule to make it more fair for those who trade more consistently.

Maximum risk per trade is 2% and you must use a stop loss. If you don’t have a stop loss in place when the trade is entered the trade will automatically be closed by our risk management system.

Why we are doing this – unlike many fake “poop firms” we are looking for real traders who want a career trading.

We want to give these traders a fair go, so we don’t want people winning the competition who get lucky with one or two big trades.

One of the existing rules has been updated. Previously you couldn’t win with one big trade, you needed to have a few winning trades. We modified this rule to be that one trade can not exceed 70% of your total profitable trades.

We hope these rules will help even the playing field for all.

    Good luck, go get em!

Thank you very much for this update. I am one of the people who would vote for this change. Its depressing seeing people win competitions without proper trading setup. And now I hope we all fully understand that this is a career not a gambling opportunity.

Great to hear Romeo, we are hoping this will set us apart from other, Prop Firms, who just encourage gambling.

Decembers trading competitions is well under way. https://leaders.traderswithedge.com

Remember that it’s not over until the end, so stick to your plan, don’t over trade and manage your risk.

You could win simply because others are being too aggressive and wiping themselves out, or cheating with EA’s/software and will be manually removed. Here is a video of it happening at the Olympics a few years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwWt3jNhsv4
