Does the news about the US dollar affect other currencies?
The United States is one of only two countries that Everyone relies upon for stability in this global economy. The other? You guessed it: China! With their national currencies based off the USD’s powerful financial tool, they have access to safety and security not found anywhere else- which makes sense.
While most people understand that the US dollar is important to global trade, few realize just how much of an impact it has on their daily lives. For example, did you know that when you buy a coffee with your debit card, chances are good that the price you’re paying is influenced by the value of the US dollar?
Or how about when you go on vacation to Europe and have to figure out how much your money is worth in Euros? The strength of the US dollar comes into play there!
In short, whether we realize it or not, the US dollar affects our lives in more ways than we could imagine.
