How do you limit distractions in your life?
I recently read this book, which I highly recommend to anyone trying to limit distractions in their life.
The author quickly realises that both himself and his god son are being sucked into the vortex of their phones.
After reading this I turned off data on my phone so I could only receive calls and texts and not be distracted by any social media, youtube, global issues etc etc for 11 days.
It’s the first time I’ve done that for any length of time and I didn’t miss it.
In fact I was somewhat saddened to turn it back on!
My notification is no longer an annoying ping, it’s now the sound of ice in a glass.
Much more inviting!
Anyway it’s a great read.
