I don’t really agree with this
I’m great with the part that the money will take care of itself if you’re doing the right things. The job is traders is not to make the best trades..
Our job is to:
1) find a strategy that fits our personality.
2) trade that strategy religiously and judge our performance by how well we stick to the trading plan, NOT if we had good trades.
3) document the trades and emotions.
4) review the trades and journal after a significant amount of trades 30+ look for patterns in the losing trades and see if there is something to be improved upon. Then go back and do the same for the profitable trades, could they have been held longer/shorter etc.
